Earth Day Yoga & Clean Up

Kids Impact Community and Little Sprouts Play Cafe is excited to celebrate Earth Day by providing a fun, mindful outdoor family yoga class (led by Yoga with Senta) as well as a Nesting Bag project for all ages that will help our local birds create beautiful nests in our neighborhoods!

Where: Triangle Park on Wilson Avenue (next to Little Sprouts Play Cafe in Shorewood- 4606 N. Wilson Drive)

Registration: On KIC website

Purpose: During the outdoor yoga session, families will be encouraged to be mindful of the beauty that is found right in our own community and understand the importance of keeping it clean! With this mindset, participants will be encouraged to clean up an area in Milwaukee to make a simple difference in our neighborhoods.

Impact: Kids will recognize that the simple act of cleaning up trash will make our community a better place!

Activities: The afternoon will begin with an Earth Day yoga session, focusing on being mindful of our environment. After this, we'll create a Nesting Bag project for all ages that will help our local birds create beautiful nests in our neighborhoods! Finally, families will be encouraged to go back to their houses or local parks and complete a community clean up!

Cancellations: Please contact Annie (annie@kicmke.org) asap in the event of a cancellation so we can add waitlisted families to the event.

Participant Cap: 25 families

Age: All ages are welcome!

Cost: Free!
