Shorewood Open Play with Toddler Talk Pop-Up

Open play is for fun group play. These sessions are open to children & guardians that want to play in a group setting. Tickets are for 1 child + 1 adult. If you need to bring extra adults, an extra ticket MUST be purchased.

Toddler Talk Mini Pop-Up (9:30 - 10:15a, included with play, but participation is optional)

Forming Function and Little Sprouts have teamed up again to offer a summer-sized version of our popular 6-week series: Toddler Talk Mini!

Toddler Talk Mini is a fun, interactive class series led by Lindsay Haumschild, a certified speech-language pathologist, mother of 2, and owner of Forming Function.

If you’re worried that your 12-36 month old is behind in their communication skills, even though you’ve read all the blogs, watched countless episodes of Ms. Rachel, and do nothing but talk and read to your child all day… join us!  You’ll learn proven strategies to develop your child’s sweet sounds and gestures into words.

Each pop-up program engages all areas of your toddler's development through movement and play!  Come learn: social games, how to encourage verbal imitation, book-reading strategies (even for wiggly ones!), and the best toys to support language development.

This series is perfect if you want to be proactive in supporting your child’s speech/language skills, you're looking for expert advice about typical development, or you're unsure if your child is "on track." Drop in!

Aaand, bonus! All NEW for the summer series: we’ll talk feeding development too! Lindsay will share tips to improve mealtime & the best cups for a healthy mouth.

The Nitty Gritty

Join us anytime during this Open Play time. We are a socks-only space for ALL guests - meaning we will ask you to remove shoes before entering our play area.

The time block of open play is a larger duration of time. Of course, you can come at the start and leave at the end of the reservation block. However, we hope this gives you some flexibility within that time to come and go when most convenient to you within this time.

Tickets are fully refundable if cancellation request is received at least 48 hours before the start of the play. If cancellation is requested within the 48 hours prior to the play, tickets will be refunded in the form of a credit for play equivilent to the original ticket bought. This credit must be used within 28 days of the canceled ticket. If play is canceled 2 hours or less from the start of the play, tickets are not refundable (some exceptions may apply).
