This complementary class will cover the benefits of teaching parents how to massage their babies. Each class is limited to 6 moms/dads with their baby.

About the event
Advanced registration required. Space is limited.
For parents with infants under 6 months old. Facilitator: Angie Biersach, MA, CCLS, CIMI
This complementary class will cover the benefits of teaching parents how to massage their babies.
Each class is limited to 6 moms/dads with their baby. Please bring yourselves, your baby, a blanket, and wear comfy clothes. The other supplies for this class will be provided by the instructor. Education handouts and certification provided by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM)
Infant Massage has been beneficial in the following areas when provided by parents to their baby age 12 months and younger.
- Helps relieve discomfort from gas, colic, and Constipation
- Improves breathing & heart rate
- Enhanced development of the nervous system
- Increases bonding & attachment
- Reduces stressors in baby & parents
- Improves immune function
