Mindful Sprouts

For ages 4 - 5 years old ( with a caregiver )

Led by a early childhood education and social-emotional learning instructor

This 5 week series highlights social- emotional learning through mindfulness-based practices. Each week we’ll explore one of our 5 senses in an exciting and mindful way, encouraging our little learners to focus their attention and notice closely. With interactive, hands-on and minds-on activities, this series nurtures self-management, self-awareness, social-awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills necessary in the classroom and beyond.

What's Included

• Admission for 1 child ( ages 4 - 5 ) - includes playtime at Little Sprouts during class
• All tools and materials needed to explore out sense of the day
• Group experience - guided by instructor
• Parent/child experience - to reflect together
• Each week explores a difference sense { ie. Sound, using rhythm, song, and breaks of guessing noises to focus strongly on our developing sense of hearing }

About Ashley

Ashley served as a public school teacher for six years and has an extensive background in early childhood education and social-emotional learning. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Ashley taught social-emotional learning through mindfulness-based practices in classrooms among various school districts. She has even shared this knowledge in facilitating professional development for school leaders and teachers around the community.
